Andy & Cerys

I have had the privilege of knowing Cerys as a friend and mentor for a number of years. She is someone who has great humility, but also a wealth of wisdom that me and so many others have benefitted from in our spiritual journeys. She has a gift of hospitality, and makes you feel immediately at home and at ease wherever you are. She’s generous, kind and godly and everyone who comes to H & B will be sure to go away feeling loved, valued and enriched in body, mind and spirit.

Having lived the life of local church leadership in team with Andy, Cerys understands the costs involved and is passionate about supporting leaders and their families. For over eighteen years Cerys worked in special education with young adults with complex additional needs.  She now supports  vulnerable adults in the community.  Alongside her career, she has lived out the call of local church leadership in service, often ‘behind the scenes’, with compassion through practical pastoral care and hospitality.

Andy has loads of experience and insight and the encouraging heart of a listening pastor. He has a great coaching style, coaxing out of us solutions to our own issues and opportunities and helping us define clear actions. Every time we meet with him we feel more excited about what lies ahead.

Andy has a natural gift to support, encourage and challenge leaders. He asks perceptive questions and is able to quickly get to the root of what is going on. His leadership support to me over the last few years has always been timely and invaluable. On top of that he is full of grace, down to earth and a thoroughly nice bloke! He is able to graciously challenge you on something you don’t particularly want to hear and somehow you go away feeling encouraged and feeling blessed. I wholeheartedly recommend you spend some time with him at Jubilee leadership.
