Our Team
As well as Andy & Cerys we have our Trustees and Council of Reference.

Pete Gray
Pete has 40 plus years of local church experience including leadership roles in youth work, evangelism, pastoral and as a trustee. Pete is passionate to see church leaders and leadership teams released into the fulness of their calling.
After building a successful sale and marketing career, he worked at CWR in a business role for 11 years. In 2009 Pete, along with his wife Sue, took a faith leap and bought a self-catering holiday business which they developed before selling on in 2020.
Pete struggles to believe that his kids are in their late thirties but loves spending time with them and his three grandchildren. Whilst being nuts about anything sporty, Pete’s abiding passion for the England cricket team is often on the edge of obsession. He scored his one and only century at the age of 47.

Phil Papps
For the last 20 years Phil has been working in Christian leadership settings, including as an Operations Director in 2 churches (West Sussex and Suffolk), a Project Manager for a charity supporting refugees, an Operations Manager for a charity operating in Kolkata and as a Debt Centre Manager for Christians Against Poverty.
Prior to that he worked for various Local Authorities in education based roles. He has served on a number of trustee boards over the years including 10 years as a Chair of Governors at a primary school.

Shirley Papps
Shirley has a background in banking, finance and administration. For 20 years she worked at a large Community Church including being PA to the Senior Minister.
She now works as a Chiropractic Assistant for a local Chiropractic clinic in Eastbourne, as well as being a helper, supporting clients in their own homes.
Married to Phil, they have two grown up daughters and she loves walks on the south downs and exploring the surrounding area.

Dawn Brown
Following fifteen years as a Baptist minister in Hertfordshire, Dawn and her husband Graham moved to Burnham on Sea in 2015 with a vision to serve the wider church by opening their home, Tillington House, as a retreat space.
Dawn is a trained Spiritual Director and she continues to serve local churches through preaching and speaking. She enjoys time with her family, walks along the beach and has recently rediscovered the joy of playing a recorder!

Graham Brown
After 35 years working in IT Programme Management, Graham took early retirement in 2020. He now supports two local churches as treasurer, and he volunteers at various community organisations including the local Food Bank and Pantry.
Married to Dawn; they have a grown up family and one delightful granddaughter. He enjoys designing, creating and playing table-top war games in his spare time.
