Every local congregation is called to be a sign, instrument and foretaste of God’s coming kingdom but our rapidly changing world is throwing up multiple challenges that were never even thought of in ministry training.
Church leadership is a demanding and often relentless calling, with expectations that often feel overwhelming. Leaders are consistently pouring themselves into others, yet rarely receive the same level of care and support in return.
Part of the problem is often a lack of available funds. Many churches do not have a leadership development budget and most church leaders do not have the financial resources to pay for their own training. Whilst we work hard to help leaders access money within their networks, the reality is we are not able to charge fees that reflect our costs.
It is essential that we all recognise that investing in our leaders is not a luxury, but a necessity for the long-term health of the church.
Your financial support will enable us to provide:
- Mentoring and coaching
- Consultancy and training
- Restorative retreats
- And make it all accessible, ensuring that leaders—whatever their context or budget—can receive the support they need.
